Hello, fellow travel-enthusiasts!

Thanks for visiting my blog; I hope it makes planning your next getaway easy and fun! You can find my different posts by browsing the tabs at the top of the page: Budget Travel, Domestic Travel, and International Travel. My travel style is both adventurous and frugal; I love packing as much as I can into a trip while saving the most money! Popular posts include tips for first time fliers, and things to do in Berkeley, CA.

I'm not entirely new to the blogging scene, but neither am I a professional writer. For those of you reading this who don't know me personally (first of all, thank you), my name is Tuesday, and I was born and raised in the hills of West Virginia but currently live in Berkeley, CA. I am a young, recently married female with a passion for travel (as well as science). In addition, I recently graduated with a B.S. in microbiology (coming soon: Ph.D.), and I am a nerd culture enthusiast. I've decided to start this blog because although I'm young, I've already explored a great deal of the world. Of course I have my parents to thank for that. Without them, I might not have such a great appreciation for experiences and a yearning to learn about other places and cultures. Anyway, I would like to share with you things I've learned in my travels--from packing a carry-on to preparing for disasters.

One thing I'd like to share in my first post is how important travel is for young people. It truly is the only thing that you can buy that will make you richer (but you don't have to be rich to do it!) Experiencing different cultures and visiting different places (not the Myrtle Beach trip everyone seems to take every year) is incredibly valuable and eye-opening.

At any rate...I hope that someone is able to find value in my posts, or at least be inspired to travel themselves!
